Want to do your own valve development? The Laguna Valving Development Kit will give you everything you need to revalve your shocks and develop your own damping characteristics. The Daytona Valving Development kit gives you just the shims and bleed discs, plus oil, an overflow cup and Kaz Tech apron. We also offer the Piston Shim Kit separately.
And when it is time to rebuild your shock, we have all the parts make you shocks perform like new. You can download the Bill of Material for any shock and determine what parts you need. You can always call us for help.

Penske 2.5 wt Shock Oil $19.95
Replace the oil in your shock with original Penske oil. Don't replace the oil with an aftermarket product! This oil will give you the same performance as when it was built.
The Piston Shim Kit contains a full assortment of piston discs so you can change the damping in your shock. The kit includes 8 each four diameters and six different thickness discs.

- (8) 14mm OD x 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25, 0.30 and 0.40mm thick
- (8) 16mm OD x 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25, 0.30 and 0.40mm thick

Spring Thrust Bearing Kit $22.00
Make your springs work smoothly and reduce shock friction!
The thrust bearing allows the bottom of the spring to rotate as the spring compresses, eliminating the friction between the spring and the spring seat. This reduces the spring assembly friction, and friction in the shock.
Each kit contains one bearing and two washers.

Bleed Disc & Ring Shim Kit $85.00
The Bleed Disc & Ring Shim Kit contains a full assortment of bleed shims and ring shim to allow you modify the shape of your standard linear damping curve. The kit contains 6 each of two thickness ring shims and four different bleed shims.
VDP Piston $260.00
The optional VDP piston is used to obtain a damping curve with more low speed and less high-speed control than the standard linear piston. This piston can be used to create control curves with totally different damping characteristics than the standard Linear pistons.
This is the stock piston that comes standard in the 7800 FSAE shock. This piston is used to produce linear damping characteristics.
7800 O-Ring Kit $25.00
The 7800 O-Ring Kit contains all the o-rings and a piston bands required to rebuild a shock.

Jounce Bumper $25.00
This is the stock jounce bumper for the 7800 FSAE shock. It is a 12.7mm (0.5") thick foam bumper.
Pictured here are pressure tubes for the 7800 shock. These are custom made tubes so instruments can measure the pressures in the shock during operation. This allows the shock engineer to examine the pressures in all chambers in the shock and pressure balance the shock valving.
